Describe the structure and function of the nuclear membrane
1 comment:
The core consists of two membranes around them through what is called an envelope.
The budget keeps the reactions happening inside the cell is outside the cell, a bit like a huge wall with holes for the pores.
The two membranes are organized in a bi-layer of phospholipids.
The bi-layer of phospholipids is as fluid-mosaic model, "liquid", ie the phospholipid molecules as they move, "mosaic" which describes how to remove the drops of the protein and eyes.
Phospholipids from: O |=========
Go a hydrophilic (water loving) and hydrophobic tail (water-hater).
The membranes of different components:
- Cholesterol: Keep the liquid membrane;
- Glycolipid: One mole of phospholipidtaken combined with a sugar chain
- Glycoprotein: a protein molecule linked sugar chain as a receptor for the cell signaling actions.
I think I covered everything.
